Structnet Design Philosophy 
Structnet is designed to improve communications between construction
vendors and their customers. The system is designed to be used by all
participants in the construction process. Developers, designers, general
contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, manufactures, along with ancillary
businesses like attorneys, accountants, bonding and insurance companies
who are all a part of the construction process. It is an extremely effective
and efficient way of accumulating and disseminating information.
The challenge is to utilize a world wide communications tool to satisfy
regional needs. Structnet has exploited the universal advantages of the
Internet, and overcome the disadvantages through its unique system of
data management. Structnet is designed as a meeting place to closely
match the needs of the customer with the products, services, and vendors
who serve in his region. Any of these groups in the course of the
construction process can be a buyer or seller. It is a promotional and operational tool.
