FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Structnet Releases Innovative Internet Search Engine for the Construction Industry

Structnet Tames the Internet

January 1, 1997 -- Today Pacific Structural Network (Structnet http://www.structnet.com.), released its new innovative search engine to the Internet for testing. Structnet is inviting everyone in the construction industry to post their company information, and market profile to their new system. They are also offering a free web page and website address to all who participate.

It is not necessary for the company to have company web access or E-mail to utilize the system. If you know anyone that has access to the World Wide Web (WWW), you can add your company information using their system. The main website address is : http://structnet.com/search/Vendor_Question.html . and follow the directions to establish your company on the Internet.

Not only will companies be allowed access to the system, but individuals in the industry as well. Project managers, Estimators, Superintendents, and Foremen can place their profile in the system and receive a free trial home page for 6 months.

You will be able to establish a password to protect your information from tampering by others, and you will be able to change your information at any time by re entering the company name and password.

Be prepared to list the following information:

Company Name, New Password, if you are an Emerging Contractor WBE/MBE, URL:(Present Website address if you have one), Snail Mail address, City, State, Zipcode (5), Phone, FAX, E-mail Address, Contact, Affiliations with organizations, Work type (Union, Open Shop or Blank)

Then be ready to answer some questions about your company market profile.

Job Type: (Commercial: Industrial, housing, Heavy and Highway, Public Works, etc.), Vendor Type (Contractor, Manufacturer, Supplier, Labor, Trade Association, or Trade Union), the Zip codes that you work in, the value of the projects that you work on, and the CSI cost codes that you work in. The cost codes will be explained on the site. A list of CSI cost codes which show the trades that you work in, will be shown by clicking on the "cost code min"

The unique thing about this search engine is that it uses ranges of data, by the vendor. For instance, if your company does work from the San Diego Boarder to Fresno CA., the zip code you would use for Zip Code Min would be 90000 and the zip code max would be 95000. The same system applies to project value and CSI Cost Codes.

Help will be provided by calling the company at the phone listed below or E-mail to info@structnet.com.
